MARK LORING

NIGEL TUFNEL-THIS IS SPINAL TAP

Nigel Tufnel: The numbers all go to eleven. Look, right across the board, eleven, eleven, eleven and...

Marty DiBergi: Oh, I see. And most amps go up to ten?

Nigel Tufnel: Exactly.

Marty DiBergi: Does that mean it's louder? Is it any louder?

Nigel Tufnel: Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?

Marty DiBergi: I don't know.

Nigel Tufnel: Nowhere. Exactly. What we do is, if we need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do?

Marty DiBergi: Put it up to eleven.

Nigel Tufnel: Eleven. Exactly. One louder.

Marty DiBergi: Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder?

Nigel Tufnel: [pause] These go to eleven.

Let’s just say that Loring starts on 11, and only goes up from there. How many beers has Loring had? 15? Everyone else is on volume 10, maxed out, and Loring is bearly on 15, so he is 5 louder, and climbing, nowhere near the cliff. I think he ends somewhere near 25, but the dial has never been pinned, watch out, it will be pandamonium.

There will be plenty screams of ASININE, RIDICULOUS and COME ON !!!!!!!! That you can count on.

Know one knows what kind of golf you're going to get from Mark. He's been up and down the last few years but watch out if he shanks his shot into the woods. He seems to be calmed by the surrounding trees and just when you think he's out of the hole, he winds up with par.

He's coming off a tough Captains loss last year. Is he back? Is the swagger there? Everyone knows he can roll the rock but what about the rest? Will it be all hooks, trout, blocks, and salmon for him down there? It can get real grizzly for him out there sometimes.
